Brake Pad useful life: 9000 miles

Replaced the pads front and rear. Rear pads were completely gone and front pads were very thin. 9000 miles useful life from the stock pads. I do a lot of city riding and routinely drag the rear brake while maneuvering through traffic, hence the reason the rear pads are gone before the front. I replaced them with Lydall pads. We shall see if they go 9000 miles.

I'm working on 14,000 miles with the original brake pads. Most of my riding is open road.

Close to 20,000 on my original pads. Rears are getting a bit thin but fronts have plenty left. Most of my miles have been on freeways though.

15,000 to 20,000 miles before I even think of replacing the pads.
Then start checking them when I check tire pressure.

have 08 ultra 21,000 replaced rear front will go another 5 to 6000 mostly highway miles

2008 street glide 14,000kms - which equates to aboout 9000 miles - had to do new rears, i thought was premature . but i do get lazy and drag back brake

26k on orig rears, put new fronts on when I put new wheels and rotors. Probably going to go apex rotors and brembos pretty soon here.

Currently Im over 27k on both my front and rear........still got a good amount of pad on both.

I have 15,500 on my 09 SG. Still plenty of pad left. I'm getting much better wear with these pads than I did on the old style pads (pre-brembo). Also, the Brembo pads seem to be thinner outa the box than the old style pads.

27,000 miles and still going. Will probably put some new ones in on my next tire replacement. They still look fine now........
