Brain fog, unawareness, stuffy nose etc.

I have been suffering from a minor brain fog for about 2 years now which I believe is due to my Epstein Barr Virus. Aside from that, two weeks ago from today I woke up with a bad fever and the room was spinning. I believe this was a case of vertigo. For the next few days I was slightly dizzy and then that dizziness went away. Since this started I had one more fever about a week ago but since then only a few headaches and no fever. One of my nostrils is clogged and I have trouble breathing through my nose when I am lying down My greatest concern is the brain fog, along with the unawareness and feeling of getting dumber. I find it hard to concentrate on school work and I have also had memory problems. Now all of these symptoms have existed since my EBV diagnosis over a year ago but I was able to live with them and go on with my life. I would like to add that in the last few months my symptoms have gotten much better and I have started to feel great. The last 2 weeks I haven't been able to attend school or do most activities I have been able to do my whole life due to an overall feeling of fog and fatigue. I would also like to add that I sleep 12 hours daily and feel very unrefreshed. I got some of my blood work back today and everything seems normal, although I am still waiting on the EBV, mono, heavy metal, and west nile blood results. I am 17 years old and would really appreciate some input as to what this potentially could be and where I go from here, assuming the blood results all come back negative. I am also worried this may be a horrible relapse of EBV. Thank you all.

I would strongly urge you to examine the sleeping 12 hours and not feeling refreshed aspect. Allergies may very well be a valid suggestion, but with the addition of this fact, could be a bit more serious/complicated. It could be nutritional. You gotta get to your doctor and get working on this asap. Sometimes a lack in ONE thing can cause a big problem(s). I would think about deficiencies, or at least consider them.
