Brad Pitt is a SQUID!

I'd do either of them in a heartbeat. But Jolie is probably better in bed.

Besides, Jolie is the only woman my fiancee would sleep with so that definately puts my vote with her.

I happily confess to being a squid in the clothing department....actually after reading what the definition of a Squid is in another post elsewhere in this web site....I do believe I might just be a Squid in a few other areas the more I think about it.

T-shirts primarily and jeans with normal tenny shoes just about any time I ride and no gloves ....period.

I have leathers and know the benefit of leathers. I also have had enough major road rash scrapes, broke bones and deep cuts requiring stitches that I know what the pain feels like if one falls off a bike at speed.

Its purely my "American" freedom of choice every time I get on my bike. My leathers are plain, no ads, no fancy names, etc. They are flouresecent Orange w/only a Black stripe down each arm.

Great news today is we have cheap access to Super Glue...meaning no more stitches! Carry it with me at all times. Quickyly cures many areas of pain and blood.

Eveyone to their own on the babes....but Pitts choice in either women past and present does nothing for me. Joline and them big fat thick lips are not my cup of tea on touching anything I have.....lol I like her eyes and dark hair (probably worked on a lil bit, notheing much reall anymore) thats about it...she looks to much like her dad for me.

What ever woman you guys thinks is "hot" better check her mother out first if any hope in catching her....you will be in all probablity be seeing what you you could end up with down the road (of course she should do the same with you)...lol

Trophy womene these dasy are just plain sad to me. Certainly more expensive to maintain than any car of bike one could own, regardless of the brand.

Remember the song, "If you want to be Happy for the Rest of Your Life, Never Make a Pretty Girl your Wife". Some real truth to that lil jingle!

JMO, They are not even for sanity sake worth a quick taste.....lol

You could use that same logic and say "Guys, anything less than a roof and seat belts is foolish."

Riding is a calculated risk. Riding, even in full gear, is riskier than driving a car. Which is riskier than driving a full size truck. Which is riskier than driving a tank. Which is riskier than sitting on the toilet. When I go out to do anything, I weigh the risk vs. the reward. If you're a weekend rider or trackday rider, it;s very easy to only ride in full leather all the time. If you use your bike to commute or run errands, it's not as easy. I can't work in my leathers. And I can't wear work clothes under my leathers. And since my day to day wardrobe could be anything from jeans and t-shirt to suit and tie, I can't keep work clothes at work to change in to. I also go see clients a lot and can't keep work clothes at their office. I also can't ride with a bag full of clothes, a laptop, assorted paperwork and whatever else. So depending on conditions I may wear riding pants and jacket, or just jacket. Always at least a jacket, gloves helmet and as appropriate foot wear as is practical. But leathers are reserved for trackdays and days when I'm going out to only ride. That is just how it has to be. If my choice is less than optimum gear and riding my bike, or taking the car, the bike is winning, everytime. Besides, if I'm going to get whacked, it's most likely going to be in city traffic by a bus or something. Leather is great for abrasion, but no more able to support the weight of a dump truck than denim is.

Does that make me a squid or a fool? I don't know. Or care. I ride for my reasons, on my terms. I know the risks and accept the risks. I'm a grown up, and I can.

+1 I agree. I do believe in wearing gear but full leathers all the time is not something I want to do on the street. I would only wear full leathers on the track. I wear a helmet, gloves, boots and textile armored jacket 99.9% of the time. If I am going for a quick trip to the store or riding to work (less than a mile), I am not getting all geared up. I have been down before and I know the risk and it's my decision. If that makes me a squid then so be it. Putting on full leathers is not gonna make me a safer, more cautious rider! Just like what was said earlier, leather is great for sliding down the road but when you hit a stationary object ( tree, telephone pole, guard rail, car, ect) Its whole different story!!
Everytime we get on these bikes, we are taking great risk!! The way I look at it, when it's your time to go, it's your time to go. There is not enough gear in the world to protect you when it's your time!!
Thats my opinion. I'm not knockin anyone for wearing full protective gear all the time!! That's your choice. I've got the same choice, I just choose not to. That does'nt make me any less of a rider.
