And I'm going to disagree with most of you about temp. I live in the tropics, where during the day it doesn't get below 30 degrees (celcius) Minimum I wear is kevlars, helmet, boots jacket and gloves.

So all your arguments about how hot it is for just a quick trip to the store, just prove that you too are a squid.
 
And 'cause it's a free country I am gonna disagree with you. I wear my helmet, gloves, jacket, and low boots for the daily commute. Longer weekend rides get full gear.

It's my right.

Some might say you are an overly cautious prig for wearing full gear and call "squid" on folks. I won't cause you can do what you want. It's your life.
 
i agree on the gear deal but i also if you dont wear it thats on you my, biggest concern is why do we expect him to be a better role model? im still young but while growing up and till the day i never saw any actor or athlete as a role model. My father and grandfather are the only ones i looked up to.

No offense to anyone else i would take Jennifer Aniston over Jolie any day
 
Im on the same page as you, Im not putting on full gear to ride to the 7-11 but I rarely if ever ride without my jacket on. I think ive only done it twice in the last year and that was basically going up the street and back.
 
Thank you for you opinion, but like everyone else has said, we all have a right to do what we want. I love how people on hear call others a "squid" because they don't wear full leathers no matter what! If that is the case, 98% of riders are squids.

I'm glad that you are that into safety; I myself am an extremely cautious rider and don't do anything to risk falling off, just have to focus on the cars around me.
 
Why are you guys so concerned with Brads riding apparel, this society is built of HATERS. I ride t-shirt, no helmet and I am sure I am safer then half you crackers tryin to even ride. Brad Pitt isn't a squid, riding is more then just racing, its enjoying the weather and environement around, you dont need to be in a pressurized bubble to be safe.
