Yeah I'm sure BP is intentionally dragging their feet in order to extend the incredibly positive PR being received around the globe.

agreed. But he sure as hell loves me for staying up until almost 6 am central time to ensure I will continue to skip out on church for the rest of my life.
 
i saw on cnn's website yesterday "BP ordered to clean up oil faster" oh, now they've been ORDERED to do it, they probably thought that before it was just an offhand suggestion.
 
good fuck em, he should drop a nuke on the middle east. and if he does that, he will get my vote for his next term for sure
 
God doesn't want people to waste resources. Driving to church on sunday is just as bad as working.
 
The problem is, BP's plans really have been the best options. Top kill failed - well, that was always a possibility. Drill a relief well, and that takes time, so what the fuck?

Yes, BP fucked up royally, they cut corners and it bit them in the ass. But what else can they do?
 
It sounds like the administration thinks they could do it better. IF so they why not do so?
 
they cant just prop it up because it's 'too big to fail' though, that just undermines the whole idea of a freely floating share price
