Boyfriend takes the defensive as soon as I try to discuss something.?

I have a hard time discussing something I am upset about with my boyfriend. I explain in pleasant tone and ask questions but my boyfriend gets mad and takes the defensive as if I am making the problem his fault automatically and goes off. I like to discuss things civilly but he gets angry about it so fast. Anything advice?
 
I think you shouldn't have that boyfriend then. To tell you the truth, i had a boyfriend who was 19 and lied and actually was 22 and pretty much had no life and was trying to find a girl who would marry him. I am 13! Think about that. Then he was abusive and hitting me because i wouldn't do things. Tell him to get away from you, and then he will probalby want you back.
