Boyfriend JOKES about marriage ....(Advice)?

my boyfriend and I are in are early 20's, we have been dating for almost 2 months ... he jokes about marriage a lot and once while we were on the couch said "so when are we getting married" he laughed and i laughed and made a wierd face ...then he said " i only said that cause i was thinking about my cousins wedding and it reminded me" ..." he also said " i want a girl first and then we can have a boy"

is he joking or serious ...this has happened about 2 other times
 
Could be serious. This sounds like a comment guys make after they've been with you for a year, not two months. I would just ask him straight out what he means. If he is serious, be careful, he is way too serious too fast.
 
WHo knows with mens... if he is serious you will find out when he wants it. =)]
 
Bloody ell!! 2 months.. sounds like you got a stage 5 clinger.. i spent 5 years with one of my ex's and we never ever spoke about kids or marriage, we were just happy to be together and having fun, dont be afraid to be young, marriage is for old people
 
Tell him that it makes you uncomfortable and that you're not ready. Let him know that if he's looking for a fast family and marriage, he's better off with someone else. If thats what he's looking for and you're not in the position to give it to him, tell him. It's unfair to you and to him to continue if you're not fitting together right.
