Boyfriend in army, something to remind him of home?

im not very creative but my boyfriend is miserable in a state all the way on the other side of the country. i wanted to send him a package of something to remember home, and me and our puppy lol just all kinds of stuff. but i dont know what to send? any creative ideas?
 
You could make a collage on a poster board featuring photos of all the fun times you had together. You could put a piece of that "fun time" near that picture if you can.
 
Send him a card with pictures of you, the puppy and his friends and family. Just about anything else will be considered 'contraband' and he won't be allowed to keep them.

This is predicated on him being in Basic training. If he is permanent party at Ft. ?, he can receive and keep practically anything.
 
my son jordan is also in the army while he was in basic he was in missouri for 9 weeks first time away from home here in arizona but the army has a long list of items they consider to be contraband even very Innocent items so first you need to get a list of no no's and okay's but before then photos, videos, drawings and so on! actually just mail will make all the difference even if you buy 5 postcards from your town address it stamp it and put a little note and I love u and miss u and send out one each day and also at least one sealed letter each week these small gestures are excellent for making your hero smile and know hes not forgotten and by the way tell we all said thank you too
 
I'm a Marine and i really prefer old fashion letters from my girlfriend. Also i wouldnt send panties or thing of that nature idk how it is for the army boys but you dont want those types of things going through the mail. If you've watched Jar Head you'll know what i mean lol
 
My husband was deployed to iraq for a year, i sent him candy alot and cards hand written notes panties and dirty pictures haha!
my daughter slipped one of her toys in there on accident one time and he says it hit home! i thoguht that was really sweet definately definately DEFINATELY order him a fleshlight! haha
