...plate+gives her the bones!? we went to quite a pricey place. After finishing his meal, as i was slowing down, he offered to finish off the fat of my lamb and then when the other friend asked if he wanted to taste her food, he said he'd just finish when she was done. then she eventually switched plates with him and then he asked if it was ok if he gave her the bones, and proceed to throw the bones back on her plate. i was so embarrassed. i told him the next day, how uncomfortable i felt. that it was more important to have a nice connection with people than to get into the food. but he said that for him it's 50-50. i've had this experience to some degree before with friends and family when he serves himself 3 times or is just totally into the food and not connected to people when out together. whereas he's sociable and talkative. it's hard when one feels really embarrassed of boyfriend's behavior when in public.
