Boyf keeps failing driving test..and its affecting our relationship?

I feel quite down about it. He's nearly into double figures. I can drive and end up driving everywhere (he doesnt ask a lot for me to drive which is good) but every date we go pretty much- I drive. Diner (cant drink)= drive, cinema = drive, he visits me = i drive him atleast one way if not both.

He has paide for taxis for twice but they can be expensive.

I have trid to be supportive but I am struggling having been the sole driver in many relationships (and been used like a taxi!). He doesnt get practice between lessons and it has been years. He gets grumpy if i mention it- im not sure he even wants to drive??!

Help?
 
Why not let him drive and you as a passengeras long as your over 21 and held a license for 3 years (uk law) and display L plates and ofcourse him on insurance, That way it gves you a break and him some lessons

I understand what you mean, I drive my love around EVERYWHERE. When i first started driving i didnt mind as much. But doing favours up the ying yang can get pretty annoying. He just needs more practice, its pretty unfair for you to drive EVERYWHERE. Just let him know that its getting in the way and i'm sure you will be able to work something out.
