At the last Olympics, they were televising curling matches. It wasn't exactly prime time, but still.

That's true...I remeraber when I saw this episode (no offense to the curling players) but I thought it was just a fake sport made for the show :lol:

I really liked that Homer and Bart were essentially good guys in this episode. It's a nice change up.

The Canadian Milhouse and Nelson were great, as was Moe and the Curlies.

I really enjoyed last night`s episode. It was about the best parody of the Winter Olympics i`ve ever seen. Having Bob Costas guest starring in it and mocking himself and NBC really put it over the top. :lol: Plus with it being Valentine`s Day, it had plenty of great Homer/Marge stuff in it.

And it was curling, not like speed skating or downhill skiing so the physical risk was pretty low.

Wow, that's pretty interesting. Pretty cool that they still let her compete at 5 months pregnant even though she was an alternate.

Agnes being pregnant and competing at the Helsinki Olympics reminRAB me of the female athlete who was alternate on the Canadian curling team. I think she was 5 months pregnant.

Vancouver, to compete in the 2010 Olympics ER, UH, "Vancouver Games" when Homer, Marge, Principal Skinner,and his mother win the right to represent the USA in curling, thanks to Marge being a natural at the sport (and in spite of Homer being a natural disaster), but will Marge put winning before her husband and have him replaced with someone better (like, say, Bart - no, wait, that's "Tennis the Menace")?; Lisa gets involved in collectible pin trading - a little too involved.
