Bowling

I haven't realbowled since before I got Wii. I'm not as good at Wii bowling as I should be, but if I ever go bowling in real life again I'm going to try to actually spin the ball.

But I kind of like my previous style where I approach VERY slowly, almost break my wrist, and almost fall over-- every time. Who knows, maybe that's better for me.

I have wimpy wrists. My wrist always gets jerked the wrong direction. I am pretty sure I'd improve my game with a wrist support but then I'd look like a goob who takes the game too seriously and I'd prefer to make an ass of myself by my scores.

I get mixed up. On the radio I was calling 7 and tai by their IRL names and their wtf names IRL.

Its very confusing, actually.

I usually don't bowl. 1) I suck at it and 2) I typically walk backward while watching my ball and more than once I've almost run into people.

Perhaps if you and I went bowling, you'd feel better. You're pretty much guaranteed a win.

Last time I went bowling, I alternated between strikes and gutters exclusively; nothing in between those scores. My bowling skills nonsensically inconsistent.

I wish my real bowling score was in range of my wi bowling score, if only!

My highest wii bowling score is the same as my IRL highest score, 289.

I don't own a wii so i can't go for that 300.

A side note: I say my highest score is 289. That is in league...officially. My average when i quit bowling was 198.

Anyway, I have bowled an unofficial 300. I was warming up before Monte Carlo on saturday night. I had a crowd behind me as well as the owner (which i still talk to everyday. he owns the local mom and pop store. the bowling alley was torn down and a strip mall resides there now), which made me nervous.

But yeah, I got that last strike for my 300 and everybody cheared and then life continued. Unfortunately, as i already said, it wasn't during league bowl.

Another side note: My moms dad was a pro bowler. he made some tv appearances way back in the day and had several 300 games. He later owned his own bowling alley in Long Island.

So the bowling goes way back in my family. It's in our blood.
