Bourne 3

Someone lent me the film, they said it was good. the lead actor never appealed to me. Anyway, i was blown away, love the Cinemtography, Sh*t hot. Loved the sequel too, but nothing can match that combat scene in the original. Greengrass's effort was a noble one! But in the pls bring Doug Liman back for the 3rd 'un.!!!!

Love the first film and the sequel was great too (although in my opinion not as good as the first) just hope they'd bring out the final movie soon!

I thought there were now further sequels in book form, written by different authors to the first Trilogy?

But as the films don't really follow the books anyway, I don't suppose it really matters how many books there are!

Stu.

Empire website have been talking to director Paul Greengrass about Bourne Ultimatum:

"Paul Greengrass was on hand at last night

Both were very good films but I much preferred the first one, i loved it's quirkiness which i felt the second one lost....

When Marie was killed. I just didn't like it, the film became so cold after that, and i know it was really important for the film so it wasn't a retread of the original but i just....well...felt it took something away i guess

The second one still had some great moments though, and i loved Bourne's last line in the movie, something like, 'Get some sleep, you're looking tired.' It was obvious they'd put Stiles and Damon together in the third one.

I hope they tone down the crazy camera work and quick cuts. That was a bit of a shame in Supremacy.

That fight with the treaRABtone agent in the house - weeks of fight training and choreography and you can't see what is going on!

And I hope they keep it gritty and not go the OTT CGI route.

the only thing i didn't like about supremacy was the camerawork coz you can't see what is going on! I saw the 1st one in the cinema decided i wanted to read the book didn't get round to it then saw the 2nd one when it came out - didn't like it as much. Then i finally managed to read the books and they were amazing! They were so different i couldn't believed that the films were based on them coz they cut out one of the main storylines i don't see how they are gonna do the 3rd one coz it is based around the storyline that they cut. After reading the books i see what the directors/producers mean when they are saying they are making a true adaption of HP which cuts out alot and that i was disappointed that they cut!

I got both 1 & 2 on DVD and think they're the best films with the best storylines. Cant wait to see if there's gonna be another one! :D

That's why I'm annoyed about Greengrass being at the helm again. He seemed to loose some of the suspense and go a bit John Woo. Especially in the last car chase which gave me a massive headache.

The Bourne Identity was a very good film, but Supremacy was drab in comparison, it didn't hold my attention and I couldn't wait for it to finish!!.

The third one will need serious work to keep people interested.

Thats strange as I thought the Bourne Supremacy was a lot better than The Bourne Idenity but I guess it is all down to personal option!
However I cant wait to see The Bourne Ultimatum when it is released next year!

Loved the first 2 and looking forward to Ultimatum. Also, if they can keep up the quality, I'd love for it to go on further than a trilogy. There's hardly any films that survive beyond the first 3 so to see a quality film going the distance so you can really understand the character would be great. Especially considering Matt Damon is one of my favourite actors.

One thing though, on lots of forums ive been on, everyone seemes to have a problem with the camerwork, but I didnt even notice it, at all.. Did it really put that many people off the movie?

I was in London at the start of nov and saw them filming just outside Liverpool street station. I was just a few feet away from Matt Damon.... who is even better looking in the flesh!! ;)
