Boulevard Recall Question

Hi all,

I'm sorry if this has already been addressed, I did a search and could not find out any info, so please forgive me.

I am a proud *new* owner of a 2005 C50. After reading this forum I have realized that these bikes have been recalled for an ignition switch problem. Is there any way that I can find out if the previous owner took my bike in for this recall?

Is there a website that lists the Vin numbers that have been fixed?

Thanks to all for any help. And of course, happy safe riding to all.

Stop by a dealership and have them run the VIN#, if it has been taken care there should be info listed with the VIN#, so it doesn't get done twice.

Or you can call the Suzuki help line and give them your Vin # and thay can tell you. And you will not even have to get up off your a$$...(714)572-1490 This is my local number.

Thanks to all for the help on this often asked question about the recall!

So, I called the Suzuki hot-line and gave the guy my Vin #. He informed me that my C50 had not been *fixed.* I quickly called the dealer that I bought the bike from and he told me to bring it in on Saturday morning and they would take care of it. Half an hour later it was all squared away and I was on the road.

Again, thanks to all...my mind is at ease!

Happy cruisin',
~E
