bought used cateye micro bike speedometer, wont turn on!!!!?

so i bought an older cateye micro cc6000 and it wont turn on, i bought used, put brand new cr2032 battery in, how do i turn it on? and are there any videos for installing the pieces that go on the tires and things like that. thanks
 
It probably should have come up with a display as soon as you closed the battery door, assuming you installed the battery with the correct polarity. Hope you didn't buy a dud.

9 times out of 10, the battery is dead. I've had this happen with new ones right out of the box.
