hi there ,i have just bought a 50cc scooter which was ok, but the guy also gave me another scooter in bits that he couldn't be bothered to rebuild after an accident.i have a receipt for the sale and i went to his house to pick it up .he did not have a v5 document for it so if i do get it back on the road or decide to sell it as spares how do i prove that i have complete ownership of the broken bike?
could someone just come along and claim it is their bike when i have rebuilt it because they have the right documentation?
