I bought a cheap used truck on craigslist and im having problems getting it put in my name. The guy I bought it from said he received the truck as payment on a debt from the original owner, who's name is on the pink slip. The original owner filled out the pink slip, saying he's selling the car for $1000, but really there was no cash being exchanged. So then the guy who received the car sold it to me. Now im trying to get the truck in my name but the original owner (not the guy I bought it from) filled out the pink slip wrong, so now they're telling me I need to have him fill out a bill of sale. I've never met this guy, and I dont have his phone number. What should I do?
