bought 2003 acura tl.?

I fixed the navigation system and the radio by putting in the codes for each.

however, the cd player wont take cds and shows a E-'Rr sign when i press "CD"
 
My dad has a 97 TL and has the same problem with most burned cds and even some store bought cds. i can take the same cd that doesn't work in his car and put it in mine and it works fine so to me its just the factory honda stereo.
