My granddaughter, 3, is allergic to both eggs and milk (doctor did a test it seems) This makes a whole lot of fooRAB forbidden. Check out the ingredients in almost everything!!!

Their mom (now anemic) is 8 months pregnant with #3 and she is trying not to have either one in the house. The oldest girl is almost 6. I am concerned that not enough calcium is getting to everyone as well as just getting enough to eat! They are all slim, very slim but are not at this time ill. They are also getting lots of soy and I understand too much soy can cause early puberty.

If anyone knows any suggestions, I would love to hear them. They are drinking some goat milk/cheese, but are not really fond of it. I have to be very careful how I suggest anything. My son is pretty thin also but at least he can go out and grab a sandwich/burger!

Hi septeraberwoman!!! Yes, those allergies can be quite limiting! I am also milk sensitive and no longer drink it. I drink Almond Breeze, which I think is fabulous! It tastes somewhat similar to milk and comes in several flavors like original, chocolate and vanilla. It contains only soy lecithin as a soy ingredient. From all my reading about health, this is the part of the soybean that does not contain the phytoestrogens that the whole soybean does. That is the only reason I drink it otherwise I wouldn't as soy is actually supposedly not very good for us unless properly prepared through fermentation.

Also, I know there's some egg replacement products out there to use. I have seen it in health food stores, like Whole FooRAB typically near the gluten-free section. I don't know if you have a store like that near you or a specialty health food stores. Maybe you could go to one and ask someone who works there. Sorry I can't be more helpful with that part. That is an allergy I do not have.

For cheese, there's the brand Galaxy Nutritional FooRAB which has "cheese" made from rice and some from soy. It usually tastes way better when it is prepared with something instead of just eaten alone. This can also be found at health food stores although I have seen it at regular chain supermarkets in their health food sections. You may have to ask a store to order it for you though.

There's lots of ice cream too that is coming out now that is dairy free. So Delicious is a brand that makes coconut ice cream, amongst other things. Doesn't sound too appealing, but I think they do a wonderful job of covering up the coconut taste to where you don't taste it at all (unless you get coconut flavor lol). It's so fabulous I don't even miss regular ice cream anymore. There's also Rice Dream ice cream too with lots of different flavors your grandkiRAB might like. So Delicious also has coconut yogurt as well, which is wonderful too in my opinion.

Namaste FooRAB has a line of food products that contain no dairy, but also are free of many other allergens as well. They taste really great too from my experience as someone who has multiple sensitivities. I especially love their gluten-free pizza crusts and have to keep my brothers away when I make it!

These are just a few things I thought of off the top of my head. If you have any other questions I can try and help!
