BORAT - the movie

When I was on a plane the little film book had facts about it:

The police were called out 91 times during the making of Borat!

Pretty incredible!

You can tell which parts are staged and which aren't. When he's doing stuff like learning to drive it isn't staged, the instructor obviously thinks they're making a film about Borat learning to drive for real. Also when they drive the ice cream van near the White House and the secret service come out you can tell it's real. But obviously they just let it run for a while then when they've got enough footage they own up and say it's a comedy film.

The naked fight is such a classic jaw-dropping moment, one of the craziest scenes in anything ever. But it must have been staged when they run out nude in front of all those people, otherwise Sacha and the other guy would surely have been arrested! I think with the Pamela thing she was obviously in on it but I reckon at least some if not all the other people at the signing weren't.

All of the deleted scenes are great, some are funnier than what made it into the movie. But they just couldn't have included the 'and what is this?' 'that's cheese...' scene because it lasts forever and I don't know why or how the guy kept his patience.

Watched it on DVD, definitely doesn't hold up on second viewing. Though the pratfalls at the Antique Store still makes me laugh every time.

Anyone know if there are plans to release any Borat TV specials on TV.

I especially like the stuff he did when it was a segment on the ALI G show with British folk. His humour is slightly less vulgur with the Brits.

Loved it!!! Saw it at the cinema and have never laughed so much. Never really found Borat that funny in the sketches but it was bloody brilliant. The Ali G film doesn't compare one bit

I thought it was funny when he was at the bull riding stadium on the microphone and he said something like

"Not one single lizard will survive this" :D

Borat is a very good and funny film but i dont think its one of the funniest films of all time like most people say, there are many films that are far funnier

it was very, very funny.

Politically incorrect in EVERY possibe way :D

The bit when he was talking about the "war of terror" was a classic!

Pam Anderson, the bear scaring the schoolkiRAB, (and the head in the fridge), and the shape shifter jew cockroaches.

So many levels, so much monkeying with the American way

Yes I did watch the movie thank you very much and no, in society, the term coloured is not often used as it is old dated and could be offensive to people out there.

Borat is a fictional character saying that comment as a joke. There's a difference.

Apparently she was informed of the situation - but not alerted to when it ould occur - hene te 'legging it' out of the store!

I thought it was hysterical...

'I put you in my sac to marry you Pamela' :D
