I'm just curious as to what you would add to your boot/basic if you were the military god.
I would add one more month to USMC boot camp and I would stress PT alot more then what it is now.
By adding one month I also feel this would keep out those snotty little flakes who want to play Marine because they would wash out.
I also believe in keeping the pressure on recruits until that final week. I have "heard" stories about how it gets much easier once that first month is over. This was not the case for our platoon. We were pushed until the very end with great intensity.
I went in expecting runs of many miles and daily runs and this just does not happen. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying it was easy, but I just feel it can be alot harder.
For the record I hate PT and I am not a good runner as far as Marines go. I am an average runner, but I would of loved to of have been pushed alot harder in boot camp.
Boy oh boy do we have some brain dead people here. I guess thinking is a lost art with a few of you. The "discussion" concept must be foreign to a few of you. Damn shame you few people can't think on your own.
