heya guys, i'm new here and my i730 just crapped out on me, i was wondering if you could lemme know how to unlock a i860 to use my nextel sim card. i have the date cable from my i730

It depends. Some of the 860's are able to be unlocked, some are not. (Double Locked) If you would like some help I can try and unlock it for you and see what kid of lock it has. You can AIM me or we can continue this through the forum. Your Choice. You will need to get your Codeplug from your 860. This can be done with Carrier, which is available at my site.
 
thanks, sounds good, we can do it thru aim that way it'll save us both time. as for the codeplug i'm new so i'm like woah at this..maybe you can help tho. thanks! my aim is v12wanker.
 
I have the exact same problem as him. I have a boost i860 and need it unlocked for nextel. I think i have the cp squared away. my aim is pikerboyz1le and yahoo is pikerboyz. Let me know what i ned to do. Thanks
 
If you have had the phone unlocked through the CP and it still asks for the security code then it is double locked and I will no be able to help at this time. Sorry wish I had better news for ya.
 


You will need to use that program to save you CP to your desktop and send it to me and I can lock to see what has been done.
