boost and nextel i870

i have aboost sim card that i put in my nextel i870 it works fine for calls and rings tones but i wanna get texts ant send them but it work what can i do ?

Anyone know of any software that would enable to me flash a motorola i875 and make it think it is a Nextel i870? Basically I want to reprogram the entire phone with the software and settings that would come on a phone purchased directly from Nextel.

EDIT: I am not asking for pirate software. I am asking if any software of this kind is available. I'm willing to pay the for the software if necessary.

I'm having the exact same problem in reverse. I have Nextel but a Boost i875.
No luck so far - everything works except internet and text messages.

Because that is for a BOOST sim in a NEXTEL phone.
I am doing the opposite.
