Books that are similar to the mortal Instruments trilogy?

I really liked City of Bones, City of Ashes and City of glass, and i cant wait til her next trilogy comes out. But what are some more books that are like those? I like vampire books, but im kinda looking for more of the shadowhunter books.
Also, are there any books at all that are from a males perspective other than just a females?
any help i would greatly appreciate!

i have read a series by darren shan, its about vampires from a males perspective. haven't read any of the ones you have mentioned above, but im sure you'll like these books, there are 12 all together. he also has another series out about demons from a males perspective again, there are 8 all together, but hes wrighting more.
 
The Mortal Instrumants Series was totally amazing and if your looking for more books like it, Cassandra Clare has published more than that series. The other ones however deal with the Seelie Court and are also from a females perspective I think. She has also published City of Fallen Angels which I believe may be from Simons point of view but I a not totally sure. I have yet to read it.
 
The Alchemyst series by Michael Scott is really good, and both books have similar themes. Plus, I like both series.
