K Kevin K New member Jul 1, 2009 #2 In what way like those books? Young man learns to be a warrior? Classic Sci-Fi story? Either way try the Miles Vorkosigan series by Lois Bijould-McMasters or the Mage War series by Debra Doyle and James MacDonald. Both are solid sci-fi series.
