Books & Authors: How does my idea for the end of my series sound?

Here's how the idea starts. Demetra and Aiden switch who their fighting. Demetra faces her former lover and immortal enemy. The fight with their swords til Damien says "I know you still love me Demetra. Don't deny it." and with that he kisses her. You can hear the sword pierce through him. She pulls away and says this "My father is Micheal, yours is Lucifer. I've never loved you for darkness never outshines the light. Go back to your prison...Ceberus.". You can hear Hope screaming for her fallen brother. And with a final swing of Demetras' sword she is silenced. Demetra falls into Aidens arms and begins to cry for all that was lost during The End. Then the scene turns to Lacey craddling the head of the dying Alexander in her lap. Her head is bowed and her face tear stained. Then it keeps switching to my other characters and describes the ruins that are left of what once was Earth before there was only Heaven and Hell.
 
Sounds like a neatly tied present, which is what authors should aim for when finishing a book or series. Although, I know nothing of your story, I like what I read.
