Hey B&A, What is your "red hunting cap"? That is to say what is your security blanket? How long have you had it? What do you think of J.D. Salinger's book Catcher in the Rye? what about Salinger's writing style in general, do you like it? why or why not?

Have you ever read any of his other stories instead of Catcher in the Rye? Nine Stories or Franny and Zooey? what is your opinion on them?

my security blanket is my blue foam pillow, I've had it since fourth grade and never washed it since (btw, i'm a sophomore in hs now)

I love the catcher in the rye, even though it's simple there's something about it that makes it so catching. Maybe in another book I wouldn't like his style of writing but for the Catcher in the Rye it fits perfectly for a guy who just wants to escape.

I've tried reading "raise high the roof beams, carpenters & seymour" but it was just so boring I couldn't stand it so I quit.

As for connection with holden, honestly I wish I could, having the urge to be free and doing whatever the hell I want.

I have tons of favorite bands, but here are my TOP ones:
