(I know I'm obsessed with romance :P)
But I found these books like master of time series...and the idea of the plot is ok....but it has too much sex in it...
Hundreds of years to reform a rake by Laurie Brown I heard was ok but it also has too much sex.
Anyway, I want to read books that aren't totally about sex sex sex sex and sex. I don't care if it has SOME, but like...no not a lot. Especially I don't want to have a book cover with a mans bare chest or a couple half naked on it, that's embarressing to read in public >.< hahahaha
So like, I found these romances with ghosts and humans, gods and humans, vampires and humans, werewolves and humans, etc etc etc etc pretty interesting. But I don't want it totally about teenagers, teen books annoy me a little bit and I'm sure you know why.
I don't like books that are sloww but I don't like ones that are too fast paced either. : P
Thank youuuuuuuu :)
Must i mention no Twilight btw?

teen:
shiver (werewolf)
beautiful creatures (witches/casters)
vampire acadamies/ vampire diaries
wicked lovely (faeries)
impossible by nancy werlin (faeries / humans)
forest of hands and teeth (humans in village girl wants to escape hs undead in it)
hush hush (fallen angel)realyyyy good (has a sequel "crescendo")
fallen (fallen angel) (has a sequel)
cry werewolf or don't cry werewolf....(obviously "werewolves")
the evernight series (vampires)
or shadows
by amy meredith (demon romance or something) sequel : the hunt.
for fantasy try the obernewtyn chronicles. they arent "teenagy" but there arent really vampires or werewolves in it.
OOHHH i VERY strongly suggest a book called "a certain slant of light" its a romance with a ghost girl and a human boy who for some reason can see her its heaps good not very "typicaly teenager"
but its good!

adult:
interview with a vampire (also a movie)
dorian gray (movie)
im not really sure what else......try googling "paranormal romance books" or something like that.

I'd Say Romeo and Juliet, Classic
tis a Romance for obvious reasons but the whole star-crossed lovers idea and references to Gods, Stars, Fate etc.
