Bookkeeping: Cert III in Financial Services or Cert IV in Bookkeeping? How

to become a bookkeeper in Brisbane? I am currently enrolled in a Certificate III in Financial Services (Accounts Clerical) and wasn't quite sure if I should continue and complete a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping)....

I would like to work part-time as a bookkeeper employee (meaning I don't want become a contract bookkeeper - I would prefer to work under someone else) but would like to be earning a decent p/h rate...

Also, I've just come out of high school.... I haven't had any work experience. I'm not quite sure what kind of jobs I would be able to apply for with a Certificate III... what kind of rates should I be expecting as a person with a Cert III qualification but with no work experience?

Most people say to continue my studies.. but the problem is that the Certificate IV (Bookkeeping) is that the closest TAFE which offers the course in a classroom setting is far from where I live...

I guess I'm not really sure about what I'm asking... Could someone please give me some advice about getting a job in the bookkeeping industry... If a Certificate III would be enough to get a job...?
