Book recommendations for an avid reader...?

Ok i know there are like a million of these questions but i was wondering if you can recommend a book for me and give a small description?
PLEASE just dont list a million books. thats not helpful lol. i basically read anything (except sci-fi) so whatever u enjoyed and would like to recommend!!

tami hoag is a good author in my opinion if you are into crime thriller, suspense type books--just type her name in a search on a book site
