Book reading-vey: Do you look at the diagrams in books especially murder mysteries?

Or just ignore them?

Like the maps the author draws to explain how things happened.

I always look at the illustrations or drawings, sometimes before I read the text, so the picture often gives away what I'm reading, but oh well :]

I like to look at the maps to try and see what the author is talking about. Im not to good at directions.lol But the illustrations can be beautiful. The only illustrations in the murder mysteries I read are on the front cover. Peace Love and mung beans baby.
