- I'm looking into getting into hunting, and the first thing I want to know how to do is judges distance correctly. I know there are laser range finders out there, but I want to learn the old school way first. So des anyone know of a book that will teach me to judge and calculate range using mildots, scopes, etc.?? I don't want to leanr how to guess, I want to learn how to accurately calculate the range of an object using my scope. So any books you guys know of would be great. Thanks.
