book like the harry potter series?

what books are similiar to the harry potter books, i loved them! t=i need books as addictiting...not just the same subject
 
okay the BEST series ever is The Mortal Instrument series by Cassandra Clare it includes City of Bones (#1) City of Ashes (#2) and City of Glass (#3) they are about "shadow hunters" which are like demon hunters. and there are so many twists and turns in these books and they are full of action and forbidden romance. They are so good I would defiantly recommend them

I think Harry Potter is a bit original, so nothing's really touched it yet.

If you want books with the same effect, try The Lord of the Rings and The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan.
 
Try something like The Mortal Instruments series. I was hooked and I read the first one in a day because I liked it so much. I'm sure you'll like them.
