...but bad things happen instead, old? one of the wish cards is taken by a girl and her boyfriends mouth disapears, another is taken by a boy who asks for water for his families farm and it floods. the carnival guy is like in a wagon like the guy in the wizard of oz. and the card has one line written on it like use this to make your wish come true. old book I read it to my son in the eighties. please help me remember the name of it.
