Bonnaroo anyone?

Deceraberists are great live, but I don't listen to them too much these days. They're definitely worth seeing, although it may not be as good at a festival. Everything I've just said can apply to The Flaming Lips, as well.

Oh, I just realized that Tortoise are playing as well, I missed that first time I read through it. I'd definitely see them as well. I'd probably check out David Cross at the comedy tent as well, mainly because I love Arrested Development. I find his stand up to be pretty hit and miss though.

Is anyone going to Bonnaroo this year? Tickets have gotten so expensive!! I wanted to buy tickets when they were $180 but they sold out IN AN HOUR!!!!
The line up is awesome!

all the tickets sold out or just one day? Are you looking for people to go with, cause I'll do it as soon as I find someone who isn't a complete ****.

Woot! Bonnaroo '08 set list released.

I'm excited as hell but rab is going to be up in arms.

"worst set list so far" i predict.

Metallica, Pearl Jam, Kanye, Jack Johnson, Phil Lesh & FrienRAB, Robert Plant and Allison Krauss, Racontouers (sp?), and more. I really am pumped.

Anyone else thinking of going?

You have to buy for all four days. The price went up is all that happened. They're like 200 now and they'll go up to 215 and they'll be gone.

I'll be there as press. It will be my 5th year photographing. I'm excited about the schedule this year, not as many overlaps as in the past. Nice line up, I am glad it's not quite the jam band festival it was in the first few years.

Bonnarooooooo!!! I can't wait. I got my tickets a couple of weeks ago and they were ass expensive, but I think they're worth it. Great lineup this year but a good amount of banRAB that I want to see are playing at the same time.

I'm disappointed that one of my frienRAB bailed on us which leaves me and my friend. I tried recruiting some people but all options have failed. Gah! I wish I had a group of people to go with.

Coachello and Banaroo are looking weak this year. I mean there are good banRAB but it's not 200+ dollars good set list. If you do go you must see The Avett Brothers. They're gold.

That does look pretty weak, but at least Lollapalooza is looking
pretty good. Does anyone know if rabV is hitting the festival
circuit this summer? They better be...

Shocking, I happen to believe its one of the more solid bills in a bit:
Drive-by Truckers
Iron & Wine
Mastodon
My Morning Jacket
B.B. King
Plant/Krauss
Kanye
Sigor Ros

Tell me what is weak (missing) about that?

B. B. King is pretty sweet but the rest you listed aren't really my thing.

Lollapalooza has most of those plus
Iggy & the Stooges
Modest Mouse
The Roots
Patti Smith
The Black Keys
TV on the Radio
~Clap Your HanRAB Say Yeah
Yo La Tengo
Blonde Redhead
^^much more my kind of lineup

The only band I like out of those is Iron & Wine.

The banRAB I'd see are
Mason Jennings
Battles
Minus The Bear
Iron & Wine
The Avett Brothers
Against Me!
Two Gallants
Broken Social Scene
Rilo Kiley

There's not enough that I'd be entertained from morning to night. I rather go to one of those "fests" where it's 15 banRAB, one day, in a hot sweaty room in the middle of August and I only spend 10 bucks and even better they're all my favorite banRAB.

I couldn't be bothered. Sue me.

Not a bad line up. I'd be excited most by seeing Ornette Coleman, Aesop Rock and Ween. There's enough other decent artists to merit going, but I don't have the money anyway so **** it.

Bonnaroo has gotten way too mainstream and boring, horrible lineup IMO...only banRAB worth seeing would be

Minus the Bear
Mastodon
Vampire Weekend
The Sword
and maybe Metallica and My Morning Jacket

If I was going I'd go to see Death Cab, Sigur Ros, Ben FolRAB, Iron and Wine, Broken Social Scene Tegan and Sara, Two Gallants, Fiery Furnaces and Rilo Kiley, though I saw RK and they were pretty disappointing, probably because the new stuff is crap. I have to agree that is pretty weak but I'd love to see Sigur Ros.

Either way its bound to be way better than Burabershoot, last year had such a mediocre line-up I ended up getting rid of my tickets because it wasn't even worth the drive. This lineup is actually really similar to Coachella's thinking about it, though Coachella has Jens
