I discovered a few bones while I was in the back garden. Although several people have probably assured me that they're "probably" a beloved pet that's been buried (and I'm sure there's a large possibility of this), the bones are large enough - and distinctive enough, despite the absence of a skull - to make me question whether they might be something more sinister.
My problem is that I'm not sure who to turn to. I feel like I ought to call the police, but I'm very reluctant to waste their valuable time for what could potentially be only a few dog bones. I live in th Yorkshire area of England; are there any other places I can go beforehand to get an opinion, or is calling the police my only option?
