Bond 22-what would you like to see.(Some Spoilers)

I thought Casino Royale was a superb film and loved the way they left it open ended.The idea of a larger organisation being behind Mr White and Le Chiffre's networks is intriguing.I just wondered people's thoughts on where the story might go in the next Bond movie,due for release in Nov 2008.
I wonder whether they will follow the release patterns of the original novels-meaning that Live and Let Die would be next.If this story is adapted then it would be vastly different from the 70's Roger Moore movie.Certain parts of this story were used in earlier Bond movies,for example
Felix Leiter being seriously injured by a shark was seen in Licence To Kill
Anyway I'm deviating a lot from my initial post.Its been reported that Daniel Craig is signed on to play JB for three films.P'raps throught the next two movies we will see Bond deal with new foes-whilst leading to a confrontation with the head os a large criminal organisation in Bond 23.
Personally,if I had my way,I'd like to see a new version of Blofeld(not the cheesy old bald cat stroking version).Somebody on another foru suggested Brian Cox to play the role-although the Bourne movies comparisons would go through the roof if this happened.A good twist would be to have Timothy Dalton or Pierce Brosnan play a master villain.I'd also like Connery,Moore or Laxenby to do it but they are all now too old.
My second point is ,would you introduce a new Q.If they did I wouldn't want a doddery fool like John Cleese again.Maybe if they wanted someone who could hold their own with Bond they could bring back Colin Salmon who played one of M's assistants Charles in the Brosnan movies.Your thoughts pleas boys and girls.
 
I think the sequels will stay clear from being remakes of previous Bond films, I mean it took 40 years to bring the novels to the screen last time, so the next one will probably be an original story (maybe with a name like Risico, The Property of a Lady or Quantum of Solace).

I'm sure it will expand on the events of Casino Royale, it's already been said that more will happen with Mr White and his leader's organisation (plus Vesper might have left some video messages for Bond to help find her boyfriend).

It's possible Mathis and Felix Leiter could come back, both were recurring characters in the books.

Hopefully Miss Moneypenny and Q will return, and maybe Bond'll get his own secretary as he did with the books.
 
Bond loses his memory and is pursued by his former bosses gradually remembering his skills as the film progresses.

I'd like to see the return/introduction of SPECTRE, though that's highly doubtful as Kevin McClory is probably still disputing ownership of the characters (I think)

if they producers are serious about sticking with the current format, I'd like there to be few gadgets in the next film (otherwise there's not much different to the old Bond's)

I wouldn't mind the original plot of You Only Live Twice being used (as aluded to by Granny), but I'm not sure how well that would go down with the general public
 
Sony and EON won the court case in 2001. Kevin McClory has lost all rights to the 'Thunderball' screenplay and cannot produce another remake. EON have all the rights to once again use the names SPECTURE/Blofield
 
Really? Because they couldn't refer to SPECTRE in the GoldenEye: Rogue Agent and that was in 2004. The organisation was known as OCTOPUSS or something (Blofeld and all members have an Octopuss ring in the films).
 
It'll probably the "The Union" as seen in some of the more recent Bond novels.

I hope it'll be a big heavyweight actor doing the role, in the line of John Colicos (sadly past away) or Kevin Spacey or even an unknown actor who can really bring that omph that we've been missing.
