Bolt

Sure was. Maybe a little homage to the Goodfeathers from Animaniacs, but still great device on their own.

No you're not a loser.

Bascially...
They film in Hollywood, presumably completely on sets. When Bolt escapes from the trailer he tried to find Penny and falls into the shipping crate/box. The guy with the (I'm guessing) iPod on then seals the box and then puts it on the lorry to get shipped to NYC. Bolt is then set loose when the other guy opened the box in the Big Apple.
Hope that cleared it up. :)

It wasn't made very clear but yes,
he fell into the packing case, got sealed in and ended up in New York. He then thought the pink polystyrene packing beaRAB had taken away his special powers like Superman & Kryptonite
:)

absolutely - everyone has different tastes and all that...

BUT please tell me you thought "The Wild" was rubbish otherwise i'm striking you off my xmas card list now! ;)

I saw this in 3D at the weekend and enjoyed it. The 3D wasn't as full on as I thought it would be, but it was still pretty good. The hamster made it for me, best cartoon character in a while, I preferred him to Bolt and the cat

Many CineworlRAB (other cinemas?) only have one digital screen, and the new 3-D technology requires a digital projector. If there's another digital/3-D film (e.g. My Bloody Valentine) then they have to choose. For some reason cinemas don't like to mix & match films across different screen across the day/week, even though it would make sense both for audience numbers & facilities.

I think my nearest that will show it in 3D is a Cine de Lux. Which means inflated prices to start, plus as its in the city centre I'd have to fork out for parking. :(

How much of the 3D version is actually in 3D? We want to go and see it, but 3D doesn't work for me.I don't mind if its just clips, but if its a lot of it I would prefer the normal version.

The new Real-D 3D technology requires the whole film to be 3D. BUT one of the reasons why I said the 3D effect was good is because it is used sparingly and in a fairly non-gimmicky way.

I'd suggest that the film is good enough to be entertaining either way.

Just back from it, i loved it :D
i was laughing louder than the 7 year olRAB around me, the hamster steals the show.
just me who found the "i wanted a bike for a christmas, got a baseball bat instead...but i still rode it to school everyday" absolutely hilarious? :o i missed the next 5 minutes just laughing at that agent. :D

Um.. if you mean Travlota, yes he did a good job. I was referring to JL (John Lasseter). :)

And on the 3D thing, anyone see it who wears glasses? Did you get a shadowing effect? Don't want to waste my money if I can't see it properly.
