Yip agreed he's a very good actor. I also like Pretty Zinta I think shes so cute and can act - she doesn't overdo it with facial expressions a la Kareena Kapoor!
Went to watch Mehbooba and wow, what a back to basic film! It was set in the 'olden days' and how Bollywood films were back in the 1990's. Something made me think that the film was made years ago and was released now and Ajay Devgan looked very young compared to U Me Aur Hum.
Aamir Khan is amazing, I love Shahukh as well and Saif Ali Khan has disappointed me this year with Tashan,( which was quite frankly pants and it had the dreadful Kareena Kapoor in ) but mostly heputs in a good performance (Ta ra rum pum was unbeleivably bad too, I'm hoping the films from his production company are much better)
I have a few Bollywood loving frienRAB, although I'm not really a fan. Watched "Rang de Basante" with a few frienRAB with subtitles though, and loved it.
Saif Ali Khans film called Race, was excellent, but too many twists, which did cause the film to become more unrealistic, but there goes, it is a film!
It means that Pakeezah was and still is a defining moment in the glory of Bollywood, and I was just worried that the current discussion was a bit contemporaneously centered.
At least Hollywood has the legal and moral high ground by paying a great deal of moneys to the "European (especially French) and Asian (Mostly Japanese)" originators for the plots and acknowledging them in their credits.
