Boehner Plan Tabled 59-41

It sure doesn't.

The Treasury also reports:

Date . . . . . . . . . Debt Held by the Public
09/30/1999 . . . . $3,636,104,594,501.81
09/29/2000 . . . . $3,405,303,490,221.20
09/28/2001 . . . . $3,339,310,176,094.74

Trying to count stupid shit like the Treasuries held by the Federal Reserve (who refunRAB the interest) is only useful for retarded propaganda purposes.

First of all, debt held by the Fed is included in the debt held by public retard.

Secondly, you agree we shouldn't need to pay intragovernmental holdings right? You realize that includes your precious programs like social security right? Obviously you can see that Clinton raided the trusts to make it look like he was running a surplus.

If they aren't worth counting, they aren't worth paying. I'm pretty sure you don't even know what intragovernmental holdings are. You are such a damn troll.

No, sorry man. There is NO excuse for running deficits and borrowing money for government programs. The government neeRAB to live within its means.

I looked at what came in to the government, and what was spent.

Guess what they call it when more comes in than goes out. Conservaderp denial on that plain fact is hilarious."For fiscal 1999, the unified
budget reported a surplus of
$124.4 billion. For the same pe-
riod, the Financial Report re-
ports an excess of revenue over
cost of $76.9 billion. The differ-
ence between these two amounts
occurs be cause they are pre-
pared primarily on different
measurement bases to carry out
their different objectives."

and

"For fiscal 2000, the unified budget reported a surplus of $236.9 billion. For the same period, the Financial Report of the United States Government reports an excess of revenue over cost of $46.0 billion."

Steal from supposed trust fund, issue IOUs to trust fund, increase total debt, and call it a surplus.

9/30/99 total debt 5,656,270,901,633.43
10/1/00 total debt 5,674,178,209,886.86

You thought Fed held debt is considered intragovernmental debt. Get the fuck out of here.

You are fucking delusional if you think you've shown ANYTHING that disputes the fact that the government brought in more than it spent out. Not only are you an idiot, but you persist even when given the facts, making you a willful idiot.

That would surely change the facts, wouldn't it retard?

"excess of revenue over cost of $76.9 billion."

Reagan's Social Security reform is what allowed access to the fund. He made it run a surplus so that Congress could get their grubby little dick-beaters on some extra cheddar.

Like a bauce.

Gonna be great when Social Security stops running a surplus and we have to pay the full amount on debt interest without that help.

Gonna be even greater when Social Security neeRAB to be paid back for all the debt interest it's subsidized.

Meh... benefits will be cut and there will be some small increase in tax rates before that ever gets to be a severe problem. Payroll tax cap will probably be lifted too.

Living within your means is not stupid. Having a balanced budget is not stupid. The government was not created to take care of your every need. We must end all entitlement programs and not become a nanny state like Obama wants us to be.
