Boehner passes SECOND bill, DEMS vow to block it

Yep. He is famed for the huge levels of intervention under Hoover's Almost New Deal.

Also, Milton Friedman is a "socialist".

thats the problem IMO. countercyclical spending is nice on paper. but we live under the tyranny of the stupid masses which means we are always gonna be running deficits, whether it be in the form of always having tax cuts or increased government spending.

Boehner keeps sending the senate bipartisan bills, with bipartisan support!
The senate keeps rejecting those ideas that would work!!!

Considering the GOP doesn't have a Super Majority in the House ... YES!

Stop being a fucking moron for 5 seconRAB and you'd see that.

A straight balanced budget amendment like what they tried to pass in the mid 90s is fine. Just don't add all these crap caveats to it making supermajority votes for tax increases and peg revenues to GDP.

How come all this work wasn't done with that Dim Supermajority? What the fuck where they doing all that time? They had their time in the light. They squandered it.

Let the District of Criminals burn to the ground.

Most of the economists predicting the doom were Austrians or Friedmanites. The vast majority of the Keynesians were declaring that the Good Times were here.

They didn't squander shit, they were smart.

They refused to pass any Budget so they could borrow and spend as much as they could get away with before the next election.

They took full advantage of being in control and they went nuts and tried to get as much of their shit passed as possible before the people toss them out. Bailouts, bank/fed corruption, a 3rd war, obamacare, 6 trillion debt in just 3 years, economy almost tanked, more control over internet and the media than ever before and now we get yet another crisis that they've purposely pushed to the very last minute to create a "national emergency" that gives them more power to do even more drastic shit to "save the world" as Pelosi put it.

So, how is Reid's plan 'better' when the House voted down Reid's plan, including 11 Democrats?

And where were you faggots complaining about 'bipartisan' when the Democrats rammed healthcare through the congress, without a single Republican voting for it?
