dude what are you doing! you should be doing resistant training no more than 1-2 times a week! i learned this the hard way when i didn't get the results i deserved, strength training is a kind of exercise that rips your micromuscle tissues and requires a good amount of carbohydrates, proteins, water, sleep and recovery time.

You should be taking in protein 2x your body weight in lbs. if your looking to gain muscle mass, eat good complex carbodydrates: whole grains, pasta, rice, beans stuff like that.

Basically, you should have 10 calories per pound you weigh. One third protein, one third fat and one third carbs. Eat these as high quality, nutritious food (as opposed to junk food).

Protein supplements are worthless, processed junk food. Terrible for you with extremely low quality protein that most people are allergic to anyway. Even the biggest steroidheads get plenty of protein from a normal diet and eating extra protein does nothing to encourage muscle growth. All a huge scam.

Want a protein supplement? Eat a can of tuna packed in water. Pretty much the highest quality protein you can get.

for someone your age i dont know but i am 27 and i weigh around 210, i eat 230 protein a day and 90 carbs, i workout 6 days a week, 3 lift and 3 run
