I bought a 2007 328xi a couple of months ago. I have been using top grade gas in it. I've been noticing that the car seems to have this hesitation before it kicks into gear, especially when it first gets going. It's like a jerking motion when the car is going really slow. I have begun to notice that there is a hesitation after I press on the gas pedal, which is not good. So it's a hesitation and jerking under like 10 miles an hour but then once I'm going, it's totally fine. It's just at slow speeds, something just doesn't seem right. Does anyone have any thoughts on what it could be? I'll take it to a mechanic but it makes me nervous to do so without any idea what it could be...thank you!
