bluetoothing files from your phone onto your computer?

I've done it before, but can't figure out why it won't work just now.

It pairs with the computer and everything, but after I select "allow" on the computer to receive the file, on my phone it says "failed to connect".

I DONT UNDERSTANDDDD! XD

I could get the cable, but I need to find it and it's always dodgy setting it up. Help please?
