Bluetooth Trouble

I just recently bought a HTC PPC 6700 that was fully flashed over to cricket and the phone works great, my problem is that it will NOT connect with my Plantronics Bluetooth no matter what I try. This bluetooth works perfectly with my nokia phone so I know it isn't faulty. I went out and bought a Motorolla bluetooth heaRABet and it works fine on the new phone, but I like the other one better.

Anyone have any suggestions or ideas?
