Bluetooth problem on Blackberry Pearl Flip?

Everytime I go to manage connections and attempt to turn on Bluetooth, it checks and then in a few seconds unchecks again. ive went to setup on bluetooth and tried enabling it there with the option button, still no success. I dont know when it started happening seeing as how I rarely use Bluetooth. Any Ideas on how to fix this or what the problem is? My cell phone is the Blackberry Pearl Flip 8220
