Bluetooth? Please help?!?!?!?

Mom has lg shine
I have samsung propel

When i enable bluetooth and enable visibility on both phones
I try and search and it comes up not found

both phones have bluetooth enabled, theyre right beside eachother inside home, theyre both ATT

help?
 
I would suggest searching both of them at the same time. Other than that, I don't know.
