Bluetooth Hotsync

I've managed to seperate my PC and my hotsync cable so have been trying to Hotsync my T3 using my Bluetooth card. Have managed to pair the two devices - but cannot progress with the sync-ing and get the following message on the t3...

"Unable to initiate hotsync operation because the port is in use by another operation"

Any ideas what this might mean, and what I should do?

I seem to have sorted this out - need to check the local serial connection on the hotsync manager, rather than the local usb that i had been using....

There is a lengthy process I had to follow to get mine up and running, including enabling ICS and all that. I think most of it was for getting the internet via BT, though.

Try searching google. I found a really great guide that told me all bout my T3 and bluetooth.

Hi! I've seen that message doing a bluetooth hotsync myself a few times. Normally, it has happened after using the internet via bluetooth.

Every time it has happened to me, I have just tried it again and again. Usually after about three times, for me anyway, it has worked. I think I had to click on the little bluetooth icon on the desktop to gain access too. It seems like the bluetooth was still being used by the internet. That's just my guess though.

I don't know if this will help you out or not. I hope it does though!

Hello crash:
I have been trying to set my bluetooth so I can hotsync my T3 with my pc. I get the connection, but it just hungs there until it times out. I am using a USB BT on my pc to set up the connection to my T3

Can you tell me the web site where you found the info of how to set it up.
Thank you,

mas

Thanks - to be honest, the only problem I had was that i had it set to sync using USB (the cradel connection type) and my bluetooth card was a serial connection.

Am nowing using BTsync to automatically sync every 4 hours when my T3 is near my PC. Fantastic.
