Bluetooth headset PC connection problem?

I just bought a bluetooth dongle for my PC to use with my bluetooth headset so I can chat and listen to music. The dongle is an ASUS USB-BT21 model and the headset is the infamous Metal Gear Solid 4 headset by pelican...I think. I installed the dongle, and paired the headset, now I don't know what to do. I can't seem to use it at all (even though they are paired and both working) I already tried to find it under sound devices and no luck can't seem to use the headset even though its connected properly. I'm I supposed to get extra software or something, ASUS is no help at all and can't seem to find anything helpful on the net. The box (dongle) says that I can use it to hear music and chat, this is a PS3 bluetooth device (as far as I know) and I've been able to pair it and use it without a problem with; PS3, iPhone 3g, Car Stereo, the installation process is finished, just can't seem to find it the headset anywhere so I can switch to it or something instead of using my wired mic and monitor speakers.
