I reinstalled xp on my laptop the other day and then sp1,2,3. After that i installed my drivers (i was having trouble as my disk drives playing up). And since then ive encountered a problem. When i go to install my bluetooth the installer fails and says its unable to locate the device but is quite happy to continue and install anyway. It doesn't work properly as a result. Ive read this is a problem with SP2,s drivers interfering.
Anyone know anyway to get around this? ive been unable to work it out.
When i try 2 do anything with the blue tooth device in device manager. It complains that the device isn't working and i should check its turned on. I'm fairly confident its turned on as its on the same switch as my wireless that I'm using to write this.
